See ya later summer. Thanks for the memories. I hope this post finds you doing well. With the beginning of fall and football kickoff if won’t be long now before we are on the slopes. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Summer was awesome and we received some really great reader feedback that we wanted to share. I am going to dedicate this post to my readers and to all of you who sent us feedback. Thanks for all of the great content. I hope you had a great summer. We did. Here’s what you had to say to us this summer:

I love reading about all the ventures you go on.

Thanks. We love sharing with all of our readers. We always love it when we get feedback. I’m still in amazement that people actually read the blog and look at our website.

I just read it. Nice. Looking more refined on look of the site too.
Great pictures.

We like it when they read it. Thanks for the nice words. We try to keep it looking good.

I’ll have to subscribe.  Amazing pics.  Best time of the year to ski.
These pictures are great! Enjoy the last of the snow!

Thanks again. Enjoyed this comment . . .

Dude that was the best one yet awesome pictures I loved it was like reading a story thanks for putting us in there miss you buddy. Very nice post! I like it!  Great photos and engages the viewer with lots of getting to know you info.

Getting to know you. Getting to know all about you. Thanks for the comment. It that was both nice and very intuitive. And I guess some of my readers know me just by my texts.

How are you settling in?
Ok I guess
Not convincing my friend
“Ok I guess” kinda sounds like this sucks but I’m making the best of it.
“Ok I guess” is how I reply to my manager in March after you send me a text picture of yourself and Kyle on a six inch powder day. LOL

Haha. Adjustment takes some time but it’s good for the soul. It’s the life I chose. Not for everyone, but it’s what I do now.

Wow… looks real nice! Very cool… what’s the name of the bowl. I wish I were skiing . . .Is it double black difficulty?

It’s called “double black and if you fall you die” bowl and yes it’s double black difficulty. And our readers really know their music…

Very good. Show was killer. Warren Haynes is one of the best in the world.

Good taste my friend. He is one of the best indeed. Definitely have some fishing fans in our reader base.

Ya, you know me, I would have headed to that little fly shop in Avon as soon as I got my skis off. I bet their taking PMD’s when the temps break 55. Paradise ⛷

Fishing in the high country is the best. Speaking of being in the high country . . we received this

Sick Well done, I mean, really well done I loved the video of Kyle hugging the edge and bouncing around  I just had an epiphany. You should do your ski tours in the winter and “destination pot tours” during the off seasons.

Thanks, good idea, just don’t think we are headed in that direction. We had some nice birthday wishes earlier in the summer.

COUSIN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It’s a special day for my best looking cousin (the mountain man) Happy Birthday, ski man!!!

Best looking. Haha! Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. It’s my summer wake up call. “Wake up old man. Time to get to the gym” Ski season will be here before I know it.

Rode 28 miles on my bike this morning

Well done amigo. We received this next comment on 6/21/2019 . . .amazing

Alaska looks beautiful

It was. It was pure beauty. Thank you William Seward. Amazing purchase.

Mountain Girl

Feedback was really strong after Mountain Girl dropped her “Jackson Hole – The Hole Chewed me up and spit me out – but it was fun” post. It can be found here, just in case you missed it:

Maybe she should not have used a picture of this sticker

Hey at least we can see a Thrill of the Mountain sticker front and center.

@&!# you and the trust fund you rode in on.   LOL

She really had some nice compliments coming her way . . .

Very nice!

Awesome!

Loved it!

Wow! Her writing is amazing!

Amazing? Yup and I hope she will write more. Like her, not all our readers are fans of Jhole.

Funny, K & I are not fans of Jackson Hole either! She is on point ! Can’t wait for Colorado ski season!

Amazing and on point, I like her. Guess I’m not the only one . . check out all these nice compliments.

I thoroughly enjoyed this comment:

Very nice.  Making me pumped for winter in August.  Best to all.
Awesome! Mountain Girl rocks!! I miss the whole thing so much….. The whole thing of course being, skiing

Mountain Girl rocks!!! I concur. Liked ” The whole thing of course being, skiing ” Life is skiing right? Because I really do like my life going downhill. Hahaha

Was a great read. I feel for her!  Think I’m going to grab another epic pass before they start jacking prices.

Feel for her? What’s that supposed to mean. Hope you bought your pass. Prices just went up.

This is great – thanks for sharing!!

And last but not least . . .

Loved the post. Nice to see your montage of a terrific (and long) season – particularly some of the pix from Breck in March. Please. Give my best to Mountain Girl and the rest of the family.

WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this blog. I hope you all have a great start/finish to your week. Until next time, love one another and be kind to each other. Get out there, The Thrill of the Mountain is waiting for you. Ski on/ Ride On. Ski ya.
