BACK AT IT – SLIDING DOWN THE HILL

Snow has fallen and resorts have opened. After a brief summer and fall hiatus I’m back at it. I’m making turns and sliding away. What a feeling it is just slip sliding away. Paul Simon said it best..

You know the nearer your destination,  the more you’re slip sliding away.

It feels really good to be back out there. Inspiring for sure. These are words I am very thankful to be able to write. As I sit here and write from my home office, back from another trip in the alpine, I am so very thankful for life’s opportunities. I am thankful to be surrounded by love and those that love me. I am thankful I can pursue my passions and life dreams. By you reading this blog, you are a big part of my ability to make that happen, so thank you for all of your support and help. I am thankful for so much more, but mostly I am thankful I can share this with all of you!

Here are some pics from my last trip out . . .I am thankful I can share them with you.

Enjoy

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The last post batch of feedback has been amazing. We really appreciate everything we get. Emails, texts, FB or IG comments, DM’s, PM’s, replies & comments we love them all. Keep the positive energy and flow coming our way.  We really love our loyal readers. Received this from one:

Just read it top to bottom, very nice

Thank you. Much appreciated. Almost as good as “I just reread it top to bottom, very nice” Anyway, love it when we saw this:

That’s so exciting

as well as this:

beautiful

and this made us feel good:

The sites looking great man!

and we love our reader’s who do this:

Great post! I’m going to share on FB

Thank you. One of the best ways you can give us a compliment is to share this with those that you think will enjoy our fresh and original content. As one reader put it:

Nice blog

And this is always nice to see

Super awesome!!

We received this from one reader . . .

I’m alright, trying to learn, live and stay active!

Ditto. Don’t stop learning, living and staying active. Good words to live by for sure. Around here I think most of us are in agreement to this:

I’m sure you’re happy it’s ski season.

No doubts there. Love it when I received this:

Thx for sharing. Hope you are amazing.

Life is amazing. So happy to be alive and in the present.  Smiled when I saw this:

Jerry the skiing tour guide!!

I get it. This mountain life is not for everyone.

I stay right there on “outer limits” where everyone can review the goods of my “yard sale” when I blow up

I admire your confidence. This was a nice reply to receive from one reader

I am happy for you. I think it’s great that you are able to get out this early in the season.

Very low expectations with early season but I will take any time on the mountain. Always appreciate some extra motivation like one reader sent me:

Go get um brother and lay it down today!!!

I lay it down everyday . . .when I go to sleep that is.  This was nice:

Wow it looks fantastic

It was.

Thanks for the pictures and great report

Appreciate it as well as this friendly reminder:

I’ll look for the next blog post

Thank you all again so much. The feedback was overwhelming, much more than we could even come close to posting. Thanks again and don’t forget to read the next post.

SNOW CONDITIONS

Resorts are open.  The beginning of the 2018/2019 winter season is fast underway.  October came and went and November is also almost in the books. The early season snow gods have been very generous. Conditions are really good; really good. More and more terrain is opening daily.  Fresh powder and blue bird days will continue to draw my friends into the high country. Find that powder people! Get out there and enjoy it. THE THRILL OF THE MOUNTAIN AWAITS YOU. #POWDER2THEPEOPLE

SEASON PASSES

I don’t know if you can still buy a season’s pass. If you can, I would do it now. If not, paying for your buddy’s lodging and dinner is not a bad way to barter for a day ticket.
