I started Monday and Tuesday out in California finishing up an epic week of riding powder. Conditions are still really prime out in California. They should hold for at least a few more weeks. I am back in Colorado guiding this weekend and who knows where next weekend. If you have any interest, it’s never to late to get on board. Anyway…Here were my views from earlier in the week. I hope you enjoy.

Alpine Meadows

Wow and that’s just the parking lot view.

Blue bird with powder.

Is that the lake I see in the distance.

Steeps – I like what I see.

Lakeviews – they sure are nice.

And some frosted tress. Lions and tigers and bears. Oh my.

This place really does have some amazing views.

All available for the taking and we can certainly guide you through any of it!

Jerry checking himself out.

Jerry working the high alpine lines with exceptional views.

Here is my disclaimer…Experts only. Careful, trying to ski or ride above your ability can result in extreme risk of injury, even fatality. YOU CAN DIE, DO NOT TRY THIS.

Beautiful view of Alpine Meadows.

The trees that make up Alpine Meadows dot the resort with evergreens.

Some cliffs to the right and steeps in front.

And those evergreens again.

That fresh blanket still lingering on the evergreens.

I can take you here. We will have fun. It’s a great day in the neighborhood.

Jerry’s bright light always shining through.

This place is really awesome. Really. I had another amazing day at this place. Can’t recommend it enough if the conditions are prime. No frills kinda place, but amazing days to be had none the less.  Did you notice that there were only a few skiers in those shots, NICE!

Reader feedback, comments & pictures

Feedback

Reader feedback, comments and emojis were again strong this week. We received three pics, better than none I guess. Thank you. Much appreciate anything we get. Keep up the good work. Again, here are some of the amazing comments we received this week:

I enjoyed this one

Enjoying all the pictures. It is a beautiful country.

Thank you. I could not agree more. Get outside. Check it out. Stop and smell the roses. Which I guess somehow leads to this:

Still living the dream

I wake up everyday just like you. Life is a dream. Dream the impossible.

And this kinda sounded wierd to me

I pushed your blog

This is more what we hear around town:

“Loved” Thrill of the Mountain

This was funny regarding last posts title and content:

Glad you got dumped on.

and this gem with the obscene language

Call you The Dumper The Crapper . . .The Shitter

It snowed. Not sure where you got the other stuff from. Common bathroom humor. Anyway, we love it when we get this

Fun pictures. Pretty. Lots of snow.

The snow makes everything look better.

SNOW CONDITIONS

Resort conditions are excellent in many areas. Now is the time people, the end is near, like really really near. Closing day will be here before you know it. As long as weeks in some cases and a mere days at some resort. The end of the 2017/2018 resort winter season is near. Spring break is a really fun time – if nothing else, it certainly is good Jerry watching! With a little luck, some fresh powder and blue bird days will continue. Find that powder people. Get out there and enjoy it. #OPTOUTSIDE #POWDER TO THE PEOPLE
